It rained heavily in the night

It rained heavily in the night,

The dust and the dirt from all the years is now washed away.

Why was I hiding this beautiful rain cloud?

Why was she shying away to come out?

May be the past had shamed her and shied her.

But this present is all her's to embrace.

For, yesterday, I hugged and kissed her for the first time,

I whispered in her ear "It is safe for you to rain, I want you to rain"

and she rained heavily in the night!
